Attention Alumni!

Dating back to 1910, the Iota Chapter boasts over 100 years of Brotherhood, and its members have played a crucial role in the world of music and Sinfonia. Iota’s most influential members include Peter Lutkin (Iota Honorary, 1913), band directors Glenn Bainum (Iota, 1927) and John Paynter (Iota, 1927), composer Howard Hanson (Iota, 1916), Supreme Secretary-Treasurer Charles E. “Casey” Lutton (Iota Honorary, 1913) and Supreme Historian Rollin M. Pease (Iota, 1917). There is no doubt that Iota has been one of the cornerstones of advancing the most noblest aims of Sinfonia, and we continue to stand as a pillar of strength and tradition for all of our Brothers, both Collegiate and Alumni.
Through connection and collaboration, Iota hopes to keep its Brothers connected to each other and the University. Working closely with The Chicago Area Alumni (CAA) and Iota’s faculty advisors, Bernard J. Dobroski and Robert A Linsenmeier, Iota is working on new and exciting opportunities to keep our Alumni actively engaged, including newsletters and providing internship opportunities to our current collegiate Brothers. We invite all alumni in the area, either permanently or temporarily, to come visit the chapter. For more information, contact our Alumni Relations Officer, William Borges (WCAS ’11) at aro@iotasinfonia.org.
